Roadmap H2/2026: payer integrations & multi-tenant
What we are building: direct payer submission, multi-tenant for chains, open API.
Twice a year we lay out what we're working on. Not as a marketing promise, but so you can plan — and contradict us if we set priorities wrong. Here's what's on our list for the second half of 2026.
1. Direct submission to payers
Today you export your billing and submit it to the insurer via the established route. The next step is direct, electronic submission — without an intermediate step, with immediate feedback on format errors.
We're building the integration step by step, starting with the payers that make up the largest volume among our customers. The goal: a checked billing run is no longer your outbox but a button.
2. Multi-tenant for chains and multiple sites
Larger operations and chains run multiple sites, some with their own dispatch, some centrally controlled. The upcoming multi-tenant capability allows:
- Separate data rooms per site — each sees only its own rides, drivers and vehicles
- Central reporting across all sites for management
- Shared master data where it makes sense (such as payer configuration)
This makes MITA Base interesting for operations that today run several separate systems in parallel.
3. Open API
We regularly get requests from operations that want to connect MITA Base with an existing system — accounting, a clinic portal, a custom report. So we're opening a documented API.
The first stage covers read access to rides and billing data; write access for job creation follows. The API is designed so that smaller operations with an external IT provider can use it too — not just houses with their own development department.
What is deliberately waiting
Just as important as what we build is what we deliberately hold back. This half-year we will build no generic route optimization for long-haul, no in-house accounting module and no features that serve only a single edge case. Our principle stays the same: one tool that does medical transport right, instead of ten features that half-do everything.
How you can influence it
This roadmap isn't law. If you need one of these points more urgently than the others — or miss something that's decisive for your operation — tell us. A good part of what's here comes from exactly such conversations with operations that work with MITA Base every day.
We'll be back at year-end with an honest review: what we achieved, what took longer than expected, and why.
