Roadmap H2/2026: accounting, API, multi-site
What we are working on: interfaces to accounting, an open API and multi-site support for operators with several locations.
Here we lay out what we are working on. Not as a promise with a date, but so you can plan and contradict us if we set priorities wrong. Here is what is on our list for the second half of 2026. None of it is in the product today.
1. Interfaces to accounting
Today everything leaves the panel as Excel and CSV: rides, times, cash. The next step is interfaces to accounting, so that this export no longer has to be passed on by hand. DATEV is among them.
The interfaces are in preparation. We name a date only when there is one. Direct submission to payers under § 301 or § 302 SGB V is not part of this, and it is not planned.
2. Multi-site for operators with several locations
Larger operators run several locations, some with their own dispatch, some centrally controlled. This is what we are working on:
- Separate data rooms per location: each sees only its own rides, drivers and vehicles
- Central reporting across all locations for management
- Shared master data where it makes sense, such as payers
Today every customer gets their own installation with their own database. That stays; the locations are added inside that one installation.
3. Open API
So that MitaBase can be connected to an existing system, such as accounting or a report of your own, we are working on a documented API.
The first stage is meant to offer read access to rides; write access for creating jobs follows after that. The API is meant to be usable by smaller operators with an external IT provider too.
What is deliberately waiting
Just as important as what we build is what we hold back. This half-year we build no generic route optimisation for long-haul, no accounting module of our own and no features that serve only a single edge case. Our principle stays the same: one tool that does patient transport right, instead of ten features that half-do everything.
How you can influence it
This roadmap is not law. If you need one of these points more urgently than the others, or miss something that is decisive for your operation, tell us. A good part of what is here comes from conversations with operators in the industry.
