Why this works
Everything runs on servers in Germany. Map, routing and address search are our own services, with no third-party map, routing or tracking services. Each of these rules has an automated test; if one is broken, the build stops.
When your dispatcher types a patient's address, the map comes from our own map file, the route from our own routing engine and the address search from our own service. None of it goes to Google or Mapbox.
A patient's address, appointment time and destination are sensitive data. If a driver types the address into Google Maps, the address and the time sit with Google. Not with us.
Each customer also gets their own installation, with their own database and their own address. One customer's data is separate from every other customer's.
MitaBase is young. We do not have a wall of customer logos to show yet; we show you the product.
You see all of it, in your own operation, not with sample data.

Frequently asked questions
What do I get for the price that a spreadsheet cannot do?+
A spreadsheet plans your rides. MitaBase plans them, and on the Pro plan every transport form sits as a photo on its ride in the review list before you submit it. If something is missing, you see it before submitting and not in the rejection letter.
Why per vehicle and not per user?+
Because in shift operation two to three drivers drive the same vehicle. The price follows what you put on the road: the vehicle. How many people work with it does not change it.
What happens if the system reads a form wrongly?+
Then it goes to a person. Every field has three states: present, missing, uncertain. Uncertain always goes to manual review. That is deliberate: looking at a correct form once more costs you a minute. Submitting an incomplete form risks the payer not paying for the ride.
We have no time for a migration.+
You do not have to migrate anything. In one joint call we build a real day on your board; you enter vehicles, drivers and customers, we sit beside you. On the Plus plan we do the entry for you. After that your current solution keeps running for 30 days in parallel. If MitaBase is not better by then, you cancel.
Where does our data live?+
On servers in Germany, on an encrypted disk. The backup goes to a second German data centre every 24 hours. Every customer has their own installation with their own database. We conclude the data processing agreement with you in text form before we process any personal data on your behalf.
What if we want to stop?+
Then you cancel. With monthly payment, with 14 days' notice to the end of the month. With yearly payment the contract runs to the end of the yearly term you booked and renews for twelve months unless cancelled one month before the end of the term. You export your data during the term without asking us; after the end we keep it ready for export for 30 days. If you switch to another provider, a notice period of no more than two months applies.
