Excel works until the day goes differently from the plan.
A spreadsheet is already there, fast and anyone can use it. In patient transport it stops in three places: it does not reach the driver, it knows nothing about the transport form, and as a file on one computer only one person can edit it.
Where MitaBase is not the right fit
- If you dispatch alone, have few forms and carry the company in your head, you do not need us today.
- If you do not want an app on the driver's phone: without it MitaBase stays a board in the office, without position, clock-ins and photos.
| CRITERION | EXCEL AND THE PHONE | MITABASE |

Frequently asked questions
What is Excel better at?
Three things: Excel is already there, anyone can use it, and it does exactly what its owner built. If you dispatch alone, have few forms and carry the company in your head, you do not need us today. Excel stops in three places: at the second person who has to look in at the same time, at the rejected form nobody checked, and on the day the one person who understands the spreadsheet is out.
When does switching make sense?
When two people dispatch at the same time, when a transport form is rejected in a month that nobody checked beforehand, or when only one person understands the spreadsheet. What MitaBase costs is on the pricing page: per vehicle and month, plus VAT, the first vehicle free. Whether that adds up for you is a sum you do with your own figures.
What happens to our existing lists?
They stay, and they come along. You enter vehicles, drivers and customers from your spreadsheet in one joint call, we sit beside you; on the Plus plan we do the entry for you. You paste rides as text or as a table, and duplicates are caught. Your spreadsheet keeps running alongside for 30 days, there is no cut-over date, and everything in the panel comes back out as Excel and CSV, without asking us.
